Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a rechargeable lithium battery having desired or improved rapid charge-discharge characteristics. For example, the rechargeable lithium battery of the present disclosure comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, wherein the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material, a first binder and a first conductive material, the first conductive material comprises carbon nanotubes. A ratio of an ionic resistance of the positive electrode to an ionic resistance of the negative electrode is ≥ 1.4 to ≤ 2.0.
