Abstract

A separator for a non-aqueous secondary battery includes: a porous substrate; a heat-resistant layer disposed on one surface or both surfaces of the porous substrate and containing inorganic particles and a binder resin; and an adhesive layer disposed on one surface or both surfaces of a laminate including the porous substrate and the heat-resistant layer and containing a polyvinylidene fluoride-based resin, in which the inorganic particles have a mass proportion of 95 mass% or more in the heat-resistant layer, the inorganic particles contained in the heat-resistant layer have an average primary particle diameter of 0.01 µm to 0.30 µm, and the adhesive layer has a porous structure in which fibrils containing the polyvinylidene fluoride-based resin are connected in a three-dimensional network shape.
