Abstract
An integrated circuit for a wireless charging device, the integrated circuit configured to: communicate with a receiver device using near field communication, NFC; determine one or more processing response times of the receiver device based on the communication; and determine if the receiver device comprises a passive NFC tag or a powered NFC device based on the one or more processing response times.
