Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for information transmission, a device, a system, a chip and a storage medium, wherein the method comprises: sending first time indication information to a terminal in a first beam footprint, wherein the first time indication information indicates time information for the terminal to receive first neighboring cell configuration information of a first cell, the first beam footprint is within the first cell, and the first neighboring cell configuration information is used for the terminal to perform a neighboring cell measurement, thereby saving the transmission power and the channel resource of a network device.
