Abstract

The invention concerns an insulating casing for an electronic device consisting of a body and one or more devices connected thereto. The casing is particularly suitable for use on medical devices, preferably magnetic therapy devices.The casing consists of two parts: a "body casing", protecting the electronics and the sockets where peripherals are connected; a "peripheral casing", protecting the components in each peripheral and the housing where the cable end is inserted into the peripheral.In both parts, the casing includes a one-piece resilient component made of silicone or rubber, which is sandwiched between two half-shells made of ABS or other rigid material.Advantageously, the novel technical features of the casing make the device to which it is applied particularly robust, reliable, easy to use, and easy to sanitize. Thus, the device is suitable for use in critical environments and on patients or in harsh conditions, enabling the rental of the device in complete safety for the user, the rental company, and the manufacturer.
