Abstract

Machine for transferring sausages of a certain diameter, the machine comprising: a first conveyor belt; a second conveyor belt configured to receive sausages from the first conveyor belt; a transfer unit for transferring sausages from the first conveyor belt to the second conveyor belt; wherein the transfer unit comprises: one or more transfer belts arranged above the second conveyor belt and at least partially facing it, and defining, at a bottom part, a transfer surface extending parallel to the second conveyor belt and spaced apart from it at a distance substantially equal to the diameter of the sausages; said transfer surface being configured to contact an upper region of the sausages coming from the first conveyor belt and drag them to the second conveyor belt.
