Abstract

The present invention relates to a smokeless article for oral delivery (10) comprising a pouch (12) enclosing a content (14), wherein the content contains a component which renders the content hydrophobic, and the pouch comprises a nicotinic compound. A method for manufacturing smokeless articles (10) and a kit comprising smokeless articles (10) is also described. Use of a hydrophobic content to restrict transfer of a nicotinic compound from a pouch (12) of a pouched smokeless article for oral delivery (10) to a content (14) enclosed by the pouch.
