Abstract

A radiation-protective covering (10) comprising: a flexible radiation-protective sheet (12) comprising a flexible radiation-protective material, the flexible radiation-protective sheet having a border (20), a radiation-protective flap (30) comprising a flexible radiation-protective material, the radiation-protective flap being attached to the flexible radiation-protective sheet (12) adjacent a part of the border (20), wherein the radiation-protective flap (30) is configured to be foldable from a first lowered position in which the radiation-protective flap is substantially parallel to the flexible radiation-protective sheet (12) to a second raised position. A use of the radiation-protective covering (10) for protecting clinical staff (8) from radiation (60) during a medical intervention comprising the use of radiation, is also disclosed.
