Abstract

A multi-compartment package for medication items is disclosed. The package includes plural individual sealed compartment units which are releasably secured to each other with each compartment unit holding a medication item therein. Each compartment unit includes a transparent flanged base and a chamber. A closure member, in the form of a frangible cover sheet is adhesively secured to a flange of each compartment unit. The cover sheet includes a background area of a first color and a second color. The background area is disposed over the chamber to enable one to readily see the item through the base against the background area. Each closure member includes plural arcuate tamper-evident cuts located adjacent respective corners of the closure member.
