Abstract
The invention provides a multispecific antibody for use in a therapy of an IgE-associated disease, for example, an anti-allergy therapy, the antibody specifically targeting membrane-bound IgE (mIgE) on the surface of target cells, for example B cells, and being configured to engage immune effector cells for the elimination of the target cells. The antibody of the invention comprises a) a first binding domain binding to the CεmX domain of the immunoglobulin E extracellular membrane-proximal domain, EMPD, the first binding domain comprising a complementarity-determining region, CDR, of the single-chain variable fragment antibody 2E3E10; b) a second binding domain binding to an epitope on the surface of an immune effector cell.
