Abstract
Is described a sliding skid which can be coupled to a foot of a rib supporting a covering tarpaulin, the rib being movable by a traction rope to slide on a side of the body, the skid comprising in use: - a block defining a lateral cavity shaped to accommodate the foot of the rib; and - a guiding member connected to the block and comprising a tunnel between whose walls the rope can be inserted without coming out of the tunnel. To facilitate maintenance, the tunnel has walls that can be spaced apart to free one side of the tunnel and allow the rope to be inserted into or removed from the tunnel.
