Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for monitoring a polymerization process in near real time by use of a fast GPC analysis method. Furthermore, a computer-implemented method for digitally reproducing and optionally controlling a polymerization process is provided. Additionally, the present invention is directed to an apparatus for digital reproduction and optional control of a polymerization process, a system comprising the apparatus and further comprising at least one polymer production facility and the use of a computational model and fast gel permeation chromatography (GPC) for digitally reproducing and optionally controlling a continuous polymerization process.
