Abstract

The present invention relates to a large waste container (10), in particular with a capacity of between 500 litres and 1,700 litres, having a container body (11) which comprises a container bottom (18), a side wall (12) projecting upwards from the container bottom (18), and an insertion opening formed at the upper end of the side wall (12) and being delimited by an upper edge (19) of the container body (12), a plurality of, preferably four, wheel devices (21), wherein the wheel devices (21) are arranged in the region of the container bottom (18) on the side wall (12) or below the container bottom (18) and extend below the container bottom (18), and with a foot tipping device (26). In order to further optimise such large waste containers (10) with a foot tipping device (26) as known per se in such a way that a tipping movement can be carried out with them, in particular without great effort, while at the same time reducing the risk of injury to the operating personnel, the foot tipping device (26) is designed according to one aspect in several parts, with a base part, which is arranged or formed below the container bottom (18) or above the container bottom (18) on or in the side wall (12), and with an extension part, which is connected to the base part, in particular detachably, and which extends, at least temporarily, outwards beyond the side wall (12) of the container body (11). According to a further aspect, a plurality of foot tipping devices is provided, which are provided at different locations on/in the container body (11).
