Abstract
An object is to provide a woven fabric including a flame-retardant fiber which not only has flame retardancy but also effectively forms a heat-shielding air layer and is excellent in washing durability, and protective garment, and a solution is a woven fabric including a yarn containing a flame-retardant fiber with a tensile modulus of 100 cN/dtex or more at a ratio of 10% or more based on a yarn weight in at least either one of a warp direction and a weft direction, in which the woven fabric has an initial thickness under a load of 3 g/cm<2> as specified in JIS L1096 8.4 of 2.0 mm or more, a thickness change rate after 5 times of washings based on 6N-F of IS06330:2012 of within ±25%, and an abrasion resistance based on ISO12947-2 of 15,000 times or more.
