Abstract

Barrier (1) having an anti-flood function shaped to engage in width an opening (A) of a room (V) delimited laterally by sides (F1, F2) extending vertically and at the bottom by a floor portion (P) where each side (F1, F2) has a substantially flat external front portion (PF1, PF2); the barrier (1) comprising a first bulkhead (10) and a second bulkhead (20) hinged to one another around a fulcrum axis (30) through a respective adjacent first side (12) and second side (22), each being delimited by a first front face (14) and a second front face (24) to be placed against a mass of water in order to prevent water ingress into the room (V); the first and second bulkheads (10) (20) being delimited, respectively, by a third side (16) and by a fourth side (26) provided with a stabilizing member (1640, 2640) to balance a hydraulic load acting on the first face (14) and second face (24).
