Abstract

A backlight module includes a housing accommodating a light guide plate, a light source and a flexible positioning member. The housing includes a backplate and a sidewall. The sidewall has a first wall portion having two first openings and a second opening. The second opening is located between the two first openings and has a larger area than each first opening. The light guide plate has a first lateral side corresponding to the first wall portion of the sidewall. The flexible positioning member includes a main body and two protrusions. The main body is disposed between the first wall portion of the sidewall and the first lateral side of the light guide plate. The two protrusions are fixedly inserted into the two first openings, respectively.
