Abstract

This application provides an interface display method and a related device, and relates to the field of communication technologies. The interface display method includes: When an electronic device is incapable of accessing a mobile communication network, a first window is displayed in response to a tap operation of a user on a first icon on a first page displayed by the electronic device, where the first window includes a first option for connecting to a satellite; and in response to a tap operation of the user on the first option, a communication connection is established with the satellite, and a service corresponding to the first icon is executed. In this application, when an electronic device cannot access a mobile communication network, and an attempt is made to contact the outside world via the electronic device, a user can be actively guided to operate the electronic device to establish a communication connection with a satellite, so that the electronic device can contact the outside world based on a satellite communication function, thereby improving device use experience of the user.
