Abstract

A print server (130) that provides a cloud print service manages a comprehensive logical printer (1501). The print server registers both a second print server (140) providing a second cloud print service and a physical printer (1501a, 1501b) having a pull printing service license as pull-print-capable printing apparatuses associated with the comprehensive logical printer. A print job submitted to the comprehensive logical printer is stored in association with it (S1521). Upon receiving an instruction to execute the print job from an associated printing apparatus (S1543), the print server determines if the instructing apparatus is a pull-print-capable apparatus. If it is, the stored print job is transmitted to that pull-print-capable apparatus for execution (S1548).
