Abstract

A printing apparatus (120) communicates with a printing server system (130) that provides a cloud printing service that receives a print job for a comprehensive logical printer (801) associated with a plurality of printing apparatuses (803a-803c). The printing apparatus (120) determines whether the printing apparatus (120) has a permission to execute printing according to a print job input to the comprehensive logical printer (801), transmits, as capability information of the printing apparatus (120), a message indicating that the printing apparatus (120) does not have the permission to the printing server system (130), based on a determination that the printing apparatus (120) does not have the permission, and executes printing according to a print job obtained from the printing server system (130).
