Abstract
A method for creating a simulation model of a composite material in which a filler is dispersed in a polymer, wherein a dispersion structure in a region adjacent to filler particle models is flexibly controllable. A method for creating, by a computer, a simulation model of the composite material includes: randomly placing filler particle models at coordinates that do not overlap each other in a model creation region; and newly placing a filler particle model in the model creation region in which filler particle models are already placed. The newly placing a filler particle model includes: setting coordinates of a filler particle model to be newly placed, based on coordinates of a filler particle model already placed and a preset distance between filler particle models; and newly placing a filler particle model at the set coordinates based on a preset upper particle coordination number.
