Abstract

The present invention relates to a ferrite core assembly (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60) for an electrical connector, comprising a first ferrite core (100A, 200A, 300A, 400A, 500A, 600A) having a first engagement face (102A, 202A, 302A, 402A, 502A, 602A) and a second ferrite core (100B, 200B, 300B, 400B, 500B, 600B) having a second engagement face (102B, 202B, 302B, 402B, 502B, 602B). The first ferrite core (100A, 200A, 300A, 400A, 500A, 600A) is configured to be arranged on the second ferrite core (100B, 200B, 300B, 400B, 500B, 600B) according to a mounting direction (2) so that the first engagement face (102A, 202A, 302A, 402A, 502A, 602A) is facing the second engagement face (102B, 202B, 302B, 402B, 502B, 602B). The engagement faces (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602) provides an abutment of the first ferrite core (100A, 200A, 300A, 400A, 500A, 600A) against the second ferrite core (100B, 200B, 300B, 400B, 500B, 600B) along a transversal direction (3), wherein the transversal direction (3) is perpendicular to the mounting direction (2).
