Abstract

The present invention discloses a connector assembly. The connector assembly comprises a connector (1) and multiple mating modules (2). The connector (1) includes: a housing (10); and multiple rows of terminals (12) which are arranged in the housing (10). The multiple mating modules (2) are inserted into the housing (10) and electrically connected to the multiple rows of terminals (12), respectively. A restriction feature is formed on at least one of the adjacent mating modules (2) to restrict the insertion and extraction sequence of the adjacent mating modules (2), so that the adjacent mating modules (2) can only be inserted into the connector (1) one by one in a predetermined insertion sequence and can only be removed from the connector (1) one by one in a predetermined extraction sequence. In the present invention, multiple mating modules cannot be plugged in and out together. Therefore, the present invention can reduce the insertion and extraction force during mating, making it very convenient to use.
