Abstract

The present disclosure provides a socket assembly (100, 200, 300). The socket assembly (100, 200, 300) includes a socket (1) and a power supply expansion component (2). The socket (1) includes a first housing (11) and a first terminal group (13). The first terminal group (13) is disposed on the first housing (11) and electrically coupled with a power source. The power supply expansion component (2) includes a second housing (21), a second terminal group (23) and a power transmission unit (22). The second terminal group (23) is disposed on the second housing (21) and electrically coupled with the power transmission unit (22). When the first housing (11) is assembled with the second housing (21), the first terminal group (13) and the second terminal group (23) are contacted to establish electrical conduction, and the power source supplies electric energy to the power transmission unit (22) through a transmission path formed by the first terminal group (13) and the second terminal group (23).
