Abstract
Disclosed herein is a method of x-ray imaging. The method comprises receiving (200) a dark-field x-ray image (126) descriptive of a field of view (320) comprising a lung region of a subject (304). The method further comprises receiving (202) a transmission x-ray image (124) descriptive of the field of view of the lung region of the subject. The method further comprises receiving (204) a pulmonary segmentation (128, 600, 700, 700') in response to inputting one of the dark-field x-ray image and the transmission x-ray image into a pulmonary segmentation module (122). The method further comprises constructing (206) pneumothorax image (130, 130', 130") by overlaying the pulmonary segmentation onto the other of the dark-field x-ray image and the transmission x-ray image. The method further comprises providing (208) the pneumothorax image.
