Abstract

An anesthesia cage with safe gas extraction, applicable to the anesthetizing of animals in authorized centers, comprising: a hollow body (1) and a lid (2), with sealing closure means (3), which define an enclosure (4); a connection port (11) for an external supply device (5) with an internal conduit (6) provided with a mask (61); a measuring device (41) for the gases contained in the enclosure (4); hand-access windows (12) to the interior of the enclosure (4), provided with closing flaps (13) and having gloves (7) coupled on their outer face for handling the animal without the anesthetic gas being released to the outside in an uncontrolled manner; and a device for evacuating the anesthetic gases from the enclosure (4) once the animal has been anesthetized and prior to its removal from the anesthesia cage (100).
