Abstract
The present invention relates to cosmetic or dermatologic or pharmaceutical compositions and non-therapeutical methods in the field of well-being and skin regeneration. The present invention further relates to the use of sialic acid and/or any derivatives thereof as an effective ingredient in a neuro-cosmetic or neuro-dermatologic composition for enhancing or promoting the synthesis of one or more of oxytocin, serotonin and beta-endorphin and/or for regenerating the sensory neuron neurite length in an ageing human cell.
