Abstract
An object is to provide a resistance spot welded member and a resistance spot welding method therefor. A resistance spot welded member of the present invention has a resistance spot weld formed by resistance spot welding of two or more overlapped steel sheets. In the resistance spot welded member, the two or more overlapped steel sheets include one or more Zn-coated steel sheets; a pair of steel sheets having the largest difference in tensile strength between two steel sheets in contact with each other in a vertical direction is defined as a first pair of sheets; the first pair of sheets includes an Fe-Zn alloy layer having an Fe concentration of 70 to 95 mass% and a Zn concentration of 5 to 30 mass% in a region from 300 µm to 500 µm from an end of a nugget along a sheet width direction on a steel sheet mating interface; and the average thickness of the Fe-Zn alloy layer satisfies expression (1): tFe−Zn≥SiHigh×Ms1−Ms21/2×0.5+θ+8×gSheet/5
