Abstract

A method for processing a lens for lens-over-frame glasses is disclosed. The method includes providing a lens-over-frame having a lens mounting hole formed in a center thereof, a lens mounting groove formed at a front edge thereof, and a lens catch in the form of a protrusion formed in front of the lens mounting groove; and forming a rim groove on a rear edge of a lens, which has been processed to correspond to a peripheral shape of the lens-over-frame, by using a grinding wheel, thereby forming a central protrusion corresponding to the lens mounting hole of the lens-over-frame, wherein, by forming the rim groove, the edge portion of the lens has a shape protruding outward so as to be inserted into the lens mounting groove of the lens-over-frame.
