Abstract

The present disclosure refers to a disassembling facility (1000) for disassembling HV-battery (200) after a thermal damage event. The facility (1000) includes at least one work space (10) accessible for a user. The contamination tunnel (20) is separated from the at least one work space (10) by at least one tunnel wall (30) and including a tunnel inlet (23) for entering of the HV-battery (200) and a tunnel outlet (24) for discharging the disassembled HV-battery (200). The facility (1000) a transparent member (32) at the at least one tunnel wall (30). The plurality of operating gloves (40) sealed to the at least one tunnel wall (30) so that the user can manually operate inside the contamination tunnel (20) through use of the operating gloves (40) from the at least on work space (10). A transport member (50) is provided inside the contamination tunnel (20) which supports the HV-battery (200) and is controllable to move the HV-battery (200) at least partially along the contamination tunnel (20).
