Abstract

A liquid discharge head (11) includes a nozzle plate (20A to 20E) having a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array. The first nozzle array has first nozzles (19) to discharge liquid in a discharge direction. The second nozzle array is disposed between the first nozzle array and one edge of the nozzle plate (20A to 20E) in a first direction orthogonal to the discharge direction. The second nozzle array has second nozzles (19) to discharge the liquid in the discharge direction. The first nozzles (19) of the first nozzle array are: arrayed in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and the discharge direction; and arrayed at a first nozzle density in the second direction. The second nozzles (19) of the second nozzle array are: arrayed in the second direction; and arrayed at a second nozzle density smaller than the first nozzle density in the second direction.
