Abstract

A minivan type plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (1) includes an engine (21), a motor (MG1, MG2), a fuel tank (52), a battery (50), an on-board charger (40), a power transmission mechanism (23, 24), an inverter (22) configured to drive the motor (MG1, MG2), an engine compartment (20), a floor panel (100), an exhaust pipe (54), a muffler (53), and one or more wire harnesses (81, 82, 83, 84, 85). The exhaust pipe (54) is disposed through a side of the battery (50) and the side of the fuel tank (52) to connect the engine (21) and the muffler (53), and the one or more wire harnesses (81, 82, 83, 84, 85) are routed in the vehicle front-rear direction through between the battery (50) and the exhaust pipe (54) and between the fuel tank (52) and the exhaust pipe (54).
