Abstract

A bracket for mounting a display unit to a vehicle body structure is provided. The bracket comprises a body comprising a first side member, a second side member and a bridge member connected to and extending between the first and second side members. The bracket includes a first fixture arrangement configured to connect a display unit to the body, and a second fixture arrangement configured to connect the body to a vehicle body structure. The body comprises at least one weakened portion between the bridge member and the first and second side members configured to break when the bridge member is subjected to a force exceeding a predetermined value. The weakened portion is arranged such that the bridge member is disconnectable from at least one of the first and second side members when the weakened portion breaks.
