Abstract

The invention relates to an optical signalling device, especially a railway signal, comprising a disc and a plurality of LEDs and associated lenses, characterized in that it comprises: a central optical system (1) located in the central portion of the disc and comprising at least one central lens and at least one central LED; a filling system (2) comprising a plurality of lenses and a plurality of LEDs, wherein the filling system (2) is arranged around the central optical system (1) on the surface of the disc; an edge system (3) comprising at least one lens and at least one LED, wherein the lenses of the edge system (3) have a wider beam spread than the lenses of the filling system (2), wherein the edge system (3) is arranged around the filling system (2) on the edge surface of the disc; a controller connected to the LEDs of the central optical system (1), the filling system (2), and the edge system (3), the controller being configured to independently control the intensity of each LED.
