Abstract

The disclosure relates to a steering system (1) comprising two chambers (20, 22), a fluid circuit (12) in fluid communication with the chambers, a piston (24) separating the chambers, a guide element (30), a first transmission element (4) configured to transmit a rotational force to a rotary valve (10) able to take:a first/second, position, in which the fluid circuit is in communication with one chamber,a third position, in which the fluid circuit is isolated from the chambers,the piston sliding along the guide element in a direction depending on the position of the rotary valve, and configured to cooperate with a second transmission element (6), the steering system comprising a torsion device (36) configured to move the rotary valve and comprising :a torsion bar (38) fixed to the rotary valve and the guide element,a coupling mechanism (42) configured to limit a torsion of the torsion bar.
