Abstract

An aircraft (10) comprises a fuselage (10), at least one wing structure (20) extending laterally from the fuselage, and a plurality of movable engines (30, 32). Each engine (30, 32) is operatively connected to at least one flap (40) or aileron (42) mounted on the wing structure (20). The engines (30, 32) tilt between a horizontal flight position and a vertical thrust position, enabling thrust vectoring and aerodynamic stabilization. A first engine (30a) is positioned on the top surface (22) of the wing (20) and a second engine (30b) on the bottom surface (24). The wing (20) has an opening (50) along the airflow trajectory of the engines (30, 32) when in vertical thrust mode, selectively covered by a hatch (52). The aircraft (10) supports vertical ascent by directing thrust through the wing opening (50), with flaps (40) and ailerons (42) adjusting for stability.
