Abstract

Provided is an aircraft position control system that, during takeoff of an aircraft mounted on a moving vehicle that moves, controls the relative position of the aircraft with respect to the moving vehicle, the aircraft position control system comprising: a position detection unit that is provided to the aircraft and acquires the position of the aircraft; and a control unit that controls a flight operation of the aircraft. The control unit acquires the movement velocity and the movement direction of the moving vehicle on the basis of the detection result of the position detection unit, and causes the aircraft to fly upward on the basis of the acquired movement velocity and movement direction of the moving vehicle.
