Abstract
The present application provides a glass composition with high ultraviolet light transmittance and excellent chemical stability. The glass composition comprises the following components expressed in percentage by weight: 58% to 75% of SiO<sub>2</sub>; 13% to 28% of PbO; 2% to 12% of Na<sub>2</sub>O; 3% to 13% of K<sub>2</sub>O, wherein the ratio of (Na<sub>2</sub>O + K<sub>2</sub>O) to PbO is in a range of 0.2 to 1.5. Through rational composition design, the glass composition obtained in the present invention exhibits excellent chemical stability and high ultraviolet light transmittance.
