Abstract

A steel sheet is provided that has a tensile strength of 780 MPa or more, high ductility, excellent stretch flange formability, and excellent energy absorption properties at the time of crash. A related member and related manufacturing methods are also provided. The steel sheet has a chemical composition including specific amounts of C, Si, Mn, P, S, sol. Al, and N; includes steel microstructures including, in terms of area fraction, ferrite and bainitic ferrite in total: 5 to 60%, tempered martensite: 20 to 80%, fresh martensite: 20% or less (including 0%), and retained austenite: 5 to 25%, and containing 90% or more (including 100%) of one, or two or more of ferrite, tempered martensite, fresh martensite, bainite, and retained austenite; and satisfies that ferrite includes 20% or more and 70% or less of high-Mn ferrite in terms of area fraction, and (S<C≥0.5>/S<C≥0.3>) × 100 is 20% or more.
