Abstract

Process for the treatment and dyeing of material (14) wrapped on at least one hollow rigid support (13,13') in a plant comprising an autoclave (12,12') containing a dye bath in which a material-holding structure (13,13') is inserted which houses at least one of such rigid supports provided with a through hole along at least a portion of its surface, a ring circuit (20,20') which feeds said autoclave comprising at least one circulation pump (19,19') suitable for keeping said bath in circulation through said circuit and said hollow rigid support, an exchanger (15,15') for heating said bath, a pressurization circuit suitable for maintaining a pressure value inside the autoclave just above the saturated vapour pressure of said dye bath. The process comprises the steps of: obtaining, for a package of material to be dyed wrapped on said rigid support housed in said material-holding structure (13,13'), a limit flow rate value (PL) of the circulation pump at a set process temperature (Tp) and at a static pressure in the autoclave (Psa) just above the vapour pressure for the dye bath and carrying out at least one dyeing cycle for a predetermined cycle time (tc), setting the static pressure of the autoclave to at least 30% higher than the value of the static pressure (Psa) just above the vapour pressure and setting the flow rate of the circulation pump to a value higher than the limit flow rate (PL).
