Abstract

A semi-permanent flood protection system (1) is disclosed, comprising an elongated flexible tube (2) configured for being filled with one or more fluids, a flexible sheet (3) attached to an outer surface of the flexible tube (2) and configured to extend along the flexible tube (2), and a plurality of pre-mounted attachment devices (4), which are permanently mounted to an underlying surface (18) at a site, at which the semi-permanent flood-protection system (1) is to be used, wherein the flexible sheet (3) along an edge thereof is configured to be attached to the plurality of pre-mounted attachment devices (4). Furthermore, a method for providing semi-permanent flood protection at a given site is disclosed, which method comprises the steps of: permanently mounting a plurality of attachment devices (4) to an underlying surface (18), attaching the flexible sheet (3) of a semi-permanent flood protection system (1) to the plurality of attachment devices (4), and filling a flexible tube (2) of the semi-permanent flood protection system (1) with one or more fluids.
