Abstract

A blade outer air seal (BOAS) assembly (56) is provided that includes an annular BOAS support ring (58), a plurality of BOAS segments (60), and a plurality of spring clips (68). The BOAS segments are disposed radially inside of the annular BOAS support ring. The spring clips are engaged with the BOAS segments and the BOAS support ring. Each spring clip includes a forward segment (86), an aft segment (90), and an engagement segment (92). The BOAS assembly is disposable in an engaged configuration wherein the forward segments are engaged with a surface of the BOAS support ring, the aft segments are engaged with an aft external surface (98) of the BOAS support ring, and the engagement segments are engaged with the plurality of BOAS segments. In the engaged configuration, the spring clips are configured to bias the plurality of BOAS segments in an aft axial direction.
