Abstract

Luminaire comprising a housing with a lower base part (1) and a transparent upper part forming a lens (2), and a printed circuit board (3) comprising electronics and at least one lighting element (4) enclosed between said base part (1) and said lens (2), whereas the printed circuit board (3) being connected to a connector (5); the base part (1) and the lens (2) are forming a contact zone (6) while enclosing the printed circuit board (3), said contact zone (6) being permanently sealed by a sealing element (7), characterized in that said sealing element (7) is formed by plastic injection molding, overmolding the contact zone (6), whereas the upper surface of the lens (2) and the electrical contacts of said connector are not covered with plastic material.
