Abstract

To provide an X-ray inspection apparatus that can correct past X-ray transmission images so that the extent to which there is a change in inspection performance can be inspected without running goods through the X-ray inspection apparatus. A predetermined judgment unit is employed instead of a judgment unit tending to judge conforming goods as nonconforming goods or a judgment unit tending to judge nonconforming goods as conforming goods and is applied to past X-ray transmission images. Furthermore, a predetermined correction unit is employed instead of a correction unit tending to perform processing with which conforming goods easily become nonconforming goods or a correction unit tending to perform processing with which nonconforming goods easily become conforming goods and is applied to past X-ray transmission images. Moreover, the threshold of a parameter of a judgment unit tending to judge conforming goods as nonconforming goods or a judgment unit tending to judge nonconforming goods as conforming goods is changed and applied to past X-ray transmission images.
