Abstract

[Problem to be Solved] An orthoimage generation apparatus, an orthoimage generation method, and a program capable of efficiently generating an orthoimage are provided.[Solution] The orthoimage generation apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a storage unit configured to store three-dimensional model data generated based on data of a plurality of captured images of an object in the real world; and a control unit configured to perform: a reception process of displaying the three-dimensional model data on a display unit used by a user and receiving designated information including a designated range and a designated direction desired to be orthorectified in the three-dimensional model data from the user, an orthoimage generation process of generating an orthoimage of the designated range and the designated direction included in the designated information by performing an orthographic projection transformation of the three-dimensional model data of an area corresponding to the designated range and the designated direction, and an output process of displaying the generated orthoimage on the display unit.
