Abstract

The present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method of detecting a foreign object inside an agricultural harvester machine (10), the method comprising: harvesting a plurality of crops (40) using the agricultural harvester machine (10); capturing an input image of the plurality of harvested crops (26); reproducing the input image as an output image (58) using a computer algorithm trained on images of crops (62) with no foreign objects; determining a degree of difference between the input image and the output image (58); and determining if a foreign object is present in the input image (56) based on the degree of difference between the input image (56) and the output image (58).
