Abstract
A method and system for assistance to on ground aircraft security is devised, which involves receiving data about planned intervention information on an aircraft (100), monitoring data about security status information for the aircraft (100), and if a at least one aircraft opening (103) is opened, determining whether it is the result of an intrusion in the aircraft (100) external and/or internal structure, by comparing the corresponding data about planned intervention information and data about security status information, and if it is determined that an intrusion in the aircraft (100) has occurred, raising an alert with at least one aircraft operator.
