Abstract
A temperature control stage includes: a top plate configured for a processing target to be mounted on a surface of the top plate; a heating part disposed on a back surface of the top plate or inside the top plate; a heat exchanger disposed adjacent to the top plate or the heating part, and including, in an interior of the heat exchanger, a circulation space in which a gas circulates; and a gas supply configured to supply the gas to the circulation space. The heat exchanger includes: a projection group region including a plurality of projections composed of metal fiber and projecting in the circulation space, thereby promoting heat exchange with the gas; and a non-installation region free of the plurality of projections, thereby causing less heat exchange with the gas than in the projection group region.
