Abstract
There is disclosed herein a system and method for determining updated references converters in a multiterminal DC, MTDC, power network. The method comprises obtaining (410) information for a plurality of converter stations in the MTDC power network, providing (420) the information as input to an optimization problem, and solving (430) the optimization problem numerically to thereby obtain the updated references. The solution ensures the dispatching of power and voltage profiles across the system, minimizing deviations from pre-contingency operations and ensuring compliance with all network constraints.
