Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide a video processing method and apparatus, a computer device, a storage medium, and a program product. The video processing method includes: parsing coding scheme indication information of a current block in a video stream; parsing prediction mode indication information of the current block in the video stream, the prediction mode indication information including a prediction mode index of the current block; sorting a prediction mode list to obtain a sorted prediction mode list if the coding scheme indication information indicates that a coding scheme of the current block is a sorted coding scheme; determining a prediction mode of the current block in the sorted prediction mode list according to the prediction mode index of the current block; and predicting the current block according to the prediction mode of the current block, to obtain a predicted value of the current block. According to the embodiments of this application, video coding and decoding efficiency can be improved.
