Abstract

Disclosed is a method comprising collecting at least one of: radio measurement information or location information associated with a plurality of wireless access points; determining, per pair of wireless access points from the plurality of wireless access points, an electromagnetic attenuation between the pair of wireless access points; comparing, per pair of wireless access points from the plurality of wireless access points, the electromagnetic attenuation between the pair of wireless access points to a pre-defined isolation threshold; grouping the plurality of wireless access points into one or more groups based on the comparison and based on the pre-defined isolation threshold; and, based on determining that the number of wireless access points in a group exceeds a pre-defined limit, repeating the comparing and the grouping for splitting the group into two or more subgroups by lowering the pre-defined isolation threshold.
